Since it began, Settlers Hospitality has held the core value of community at the center. Community participation is part of our identity. As such, we are committed to being active champions of responsible change in our community and to supporting families when they need us most. This value has led to the creation of the Settlers Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization which launched in 2023.

The Settlers Cares Foundation was created to help employees or affiliates who are facing financial hardship due to unexpected life events. The goal is to provide short-term, emergency support to employees or eligible dependents. As a non-profit, Settlers Cares Foundation will rely primarily on individual donations.  Each contribution to the Foundation will help provide a tax-free grant to employees in need due to a sudden hardship such as natural disaster or illness.

The Settlers Cares mission is to provide swift assistance to employees working in or affiliated with the hospitality industry in the Pocono Mountains when they experience times of crisis.
